Vintage Sterling Silver Cut Glass Pepper Pot Shaker

We have for sale a very pretty Vintage Sterling Silver Cut Glass Pepper Pot Shaker.

The glass bottle is in good condition with no chips or cracks.

The Sterling Silver bottle cap is embossed with delicate design which has been polished out with age. The cap is slightly squashed on one side but still screws into the bottle.

The cap bears the hall mark ‘Sterling Silver.’ This may indicate that it was made in Australia as their silversmiths often  just used the names Ste. Silver or Sterling Silver unlike the system used in British and European Silver hallmarks. I am not sure of it’s age but it is over 20 years old.

It measures approximately 9.5cm (3.7″) in height (including cap), with ~ 4cm (1.6″)  maximum diameter.
